why are all the animals in the Artic white?
during the summer time the animals are brown type colors to blend in with the surrounding area and in the winter their fur turns to white due to the snow to again blend in with their surroundings if this did not happen alot of these animals would not stand a chance in survival up in the tundra of the north.. this is called camoflague excuse the spelling... look at bambi's down from the north they are born with spots to blend in with the foliage that makes it very hard for the predators to spot them they dont move if the enemy is around think about it it makes sense no matter where the animal is they all somehow will blend in with their surroundings brown or white..
