How do I install custom firmware on my PSP?
My fat PSP is running Sony's official 3.80 firmware. I really want to get the GPS attachment so I can run MapThis!, but I need to install custom firmware on my PSP. How do I go about doing this (I have no idea!), or can I even install the firmware?
you need to downgrade your psp using the pandora battery trick (google it) but you need a spare battery and memory card. once you are downgraded you need to download someones custom firmware ie: dark alex. (google it). then just install homebrew software and games and wala you have free games and free psp software

How much different is the sims 3 on iPod to the sims 3 on play station or computer?
I have just downloaded the sims 3 on my iPod and I've heard that it is also on the play station and the internet. How much different is the sims 3 on the play station and computer, and is it better then on iPod?
The sims three is exponentially different on the computer when compared to the mobile/ipod version of the game.
The sims three on the ipod is very much like an RPG, where you reach a specific level, and you unlock new skills, and you eventually get the biggest upgrade for your home. there are a few decent traits, and the skills get you involved. I played the game for about an hour, and I had trouble continuing.
I cannot tell you anything about the sims 3 for the playstation, but I played the sims 2 on the regular xbox for a few months, the replay value was decent, but you cannot do very much when customizing your home, or even build fun relationships. it seemed more like a chore rather than the typical fun I had with the sims 1.
The sims 3 for the computer, is by far the greatest choice out of the 3 platforms. There are dozens of traits to choose for your sims, addicitng gameplay that has exciting events pop up at the most random times. at least a dozen skills to work on (you don't even need to unlock them) and the controls for the computer are much more simple to use as opposed to the controls used on a game system or the ipod. The amount of customization on the sims 3 is absolutely phenomenal, and can sometimes be overwhelming. It's not always the greatest thing. The base sims game is 6.1 Gb of hardrive space, and I reccomend having at least a 2.1ghz dual core processor to use it. It is a resource hog when it comes to computing and whatnot. The game also has the occaisional glitch here and there, and crashes sometimes, but EA does alright making patches for the game. There are always updates for the computer version, which makes the game even more interesting.
If you are thinking about getting the sims 3 for the somputer, I highly suggest that you do it, because it is an excellent game, and is definitely worth $50-$60

can you use the wireless guitars from guitar hero 3 on rock band 2 for playstation 3.?
just wanted to make sure guitar hero 3 wireless guitars were compatible with new rock band 2, or if id have to get new guitars since RB2 only comes with 1 guitar.
