A couple of PS3 questions?
I just got a PS3 last night from gamestop and I love the system but the guy told me a couple things that I was curious about.
He told me that the PS3 uses way too much power and will make your electric bill go up a lot.
He also told me that you aren't supposed to play blueray movies on the system because it is a game system and playing the movies will make the system break down on you much faster. His reason for that is because the blueray will constantly spin and make the system work harder than it is meant to because games don't constantly spin like a movie would.
I have never heard of those things before and it didn't stop me from buying the system but I just wanted to know if anyone has had these problems.
That guy is a complete Idiot and is probably a fan boy for some other system!!!!
I have left my PS3 on for days at a time and know people that have left theres on for weeks! It's like any other electronic device if u leave it on it will cause an increase in ur bill about 10 bucks a month for 6-10 hour use a day if even.
The PS3 is the Best Blu-Ray on the market Hands Down!! Use it like there's no tomorrow!!! It will not break that guys a dork!!! I watch blu-ray on mine all the time hench the high number of hours it is on!!!!
