are xbox 360 game save data region free?
If I buy a Xbox 360 and Forza 3 in America, and when I move to Japan I put the save data on a mem stick and then sell the console and the game, then buy both in Japan again (because of the region lock), would I be able to use the American save data on the new Japanese console and the game?
While you can move your saves to your Japanese console, the saves are locked to the specific version of that game.
In other words, "Forza 3-US" is not the same game as "Forza 3-Japan", so your saves from Forza 3-US will not be recognized by Forza 3-Japan.
