Why isnt my Storage drive working?
Ive got a external hard drive from an old pc and put it into an external caddy, i want to use it as an external storage device, when i plug it via usb into my laptop nothing happens, my laptop doesn't recognise it! im using vista. Any clues?
Might be your external hard drive requires its software installed in your new computer. What is the brand and model of your external hard drive? You can search online whether it is a plug and play device or does it need any driver. May be you need to install its driver
