which console should I get xbox 360, ps3, or wii?
i really cant decide on which console to get for the time being i can only afford one console. maybeee two
i really like fighting games like tekken and soul calibur also dragon ball z
i also like sports games (especially baseball)
i also like hockey football and soccer.
shooting games are cool too i used to play doom on my dads old computer all the time when i was younger and i really liked that
racing games are fun and beat em up games look funtoo i guess
super smash brothers melee was my favorite game of all time. i still play it today
oh and i also really like guitar hero (so i might also like rockband, are they the same controller i mean can you play rockband controllers on guitar hero.

If you want at least 6-7 years of enjoyment from your purchase, the only option is the PS3. Microsoft is going to have to release a new system within the next 3 years. The 360 was rushed out and therefore doesn't include certain technologies that will be standard in the near future(Bluetooth, Blu-Ray, Wi-Fi,etc.). The PS3 is built for the future.
There are many great games out for it right now. Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Call of Duty 4, and Assassin's Creed are just a few.
A slew of great games are coming out this year. Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, Gran Turismo 5, Grand Theft Auto 4, Haze, and many more will be out this year.
Playstation Home will be everything XBox Live is plus so much more. Look it up on Youtube for a video preview.
